Sobia Nazir-She is Islamabad's very own, local fashion designer. She is very trendy and classy in her formal and bridal wear. When she launched her own lawn prints in summer last year, I loved her lawn instantly.
I have seen her spring/summer collection 2009 on tv and on her photo gallery. Her collection is impressive to say the least. I will definately visit one of her outlets in F-7. Have a look

I know its unbelievable.....but true :)
People at pakspectator asked for my interview and I was shocked. I read hundreds of interviews but could not imagine giving one. Anyway once the shock was absorbed then I realized its a difficult task. At least more difficult than I thought. Kids exams passed, long march passed and I was unable to put my thoughts on paper. In the end I did make a lame effort.
Please read and comment( but not like one of ... Read More

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari portrayed himself as a hawk-turned-peacemaker on Saturday but the script is understood to have been handed over to him by the Americans and the British, whose late night calls helped him to try and bring sanity to the troubled political proceedings in the greater interest of all the stakeholders.
But even in the heat of emotions at the end of his speech to parliament, a politically smart Zardari did not forget to keep certain ... Read More

Load shedding has started again and being realistic we know its duration will increase in summer. Now we do not have light for 5 hours in 24 hours. Last year we installed a local made UPS but it failed. It started giving probems within a few months and was completely out of order in an year. The shop keeper took it back at 25% price which is a huge loss.
This year I am not planning to invest more in this. In summer there are ... Read More

Ayat-ul-Kursi ---The verse of the Throne
When I was a child my mother told me to recite Ayatul Kursi before going to bed every night. She said if I do so then Allah will send an angel to protect me from any harm. From then onwards when I recite Ayatul Kursi I feel protected as if Allah is looking over me. Even now when I travel alone or when I drop my kids to school or when I put them to sleep I ...
