Strolling on my way to work this morning I was too involved in thinking 'How things are getting from bad to worse everyday'. The beautiful spring morning seemed gloomy and I envied each brand new car driver and luxury home owners in this post sector of Islamabad. We all have the same Creator, who made us alike and Claims to love everyone then why this discrimination? Allah has given so much to some people and has made survival impossible for ... Read More

Moin Akhtar is one man we all knew, loved and respected. He has spread happiness and laughter for so many years. The news of his death is shocking for me. We have lost a great actor, comedian and a great human being. Please pray for his soul. May Allah bless him with the best place in heaven.
He was 61 years old and was under treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for a heart disease.

People say that Hina Dilpazeer gets all the brilliant roles but I disagree....she makes them brilliant by performing so well. From her first role in ' Barnas road ki Nilofar' till 'bulbalay' she hits a sixer every time. Pakistani drama has got an ace in the form of Hina Dilpazeer.
After Burnas Road ki Nilofar and the unprecedented success, offers and
opportunities, there’s been no looking back for her. Madam Rizwana and Baby

A news in Daily mail gave me a pleasant surprise. David Cameron! you won our hearts!!!
David Cameron today declared Britain responsible for the creation of 'many' of the world's problems as he sought to extend a hand of friendship to Pakistan.
After unveiling plans to pour £650m into the country's education system in a move seen to be an attempt to quell an earlier spat over terrorism, Mr Cameron appeared to accept that the legacy of ... Read More

Its an early Mausummery Exhibiton in Islamabad this year. Any why not? Lawns are raining and reigning from all directions.
Mausummery lawn will be exhibited in Islamabad on 5th, 6th and 7th April 2011 at Marriot Hotel. The hall is packed with ladies as usual and they are buying at a pace which frightens me as if they are hoarding lawn this summer. Everything around us is getting dearer and so is the clothing.

Today on the "World Autism Awareness Day" I would like to share that observing an autistic child has been a learning experience for me. When I met him first he refused to shake hands and make eye contact. Treating him like any other child and being an ill-informed person on the subject it took me weeks to realize he is different. Until that time he became quite upset and aggressive.
He got admitted in my preschool group when he was not ... Read More
