“Ali Moin Nawazish” should become a household name, an ideal and a role model for the students in Pakistan. He appeared in 23 A-Level exams and scored A grades in 21 of them! breaking the previous record of 13 A’s.He made his way to the Guinness Book of World Records, clearing 23 A-Level subjects and securing A Grade in 21 of them.
This is not an easy record to be broken. I think it shows more than intelligence because lots of Pakistani kids are intelligent but not all of them are motivated, organized, dedicated, privileged and blessed like he is! Bravo, you made us all proud and we as a nation need such achievements to keep our head high in this competitive world.
No wonder his remarkable success drew the attention of major international newspapers with CNN and BBC also airing his interviews. Unfortunately the authorities in Pakistan were unmoved in the beginning but later on 14th Feb 2009 Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani telephoned Ali Moeen Nawazish and invited him to the Prime Minister House to greet him personally.
The prime minister announced Pride of Performance for Ali Moin Nawazish to be conferred on the upcoming Pakistan Day, appreciated the student for bringing a good name to the country at international level. He said Ali Moin of Roots School System has shown that Pakistani youth are capable of making excellent achievements in all fields of life if provided ample opportunities. He announced Rs1 million for Ali Moeen as an acknowledgment of his academic achievement.
I feel happy, proud and a little envious of him. Today’s youth is more aware and has abundant opportunities which we never had!
