Strolling on my way to work this morning I was too involved in thinking 'How things are getting from bad to worse everyday'. The beautiful spring morning seemed gloomy and I envied each brand new car driver and luxury home owners in this post sector of Islamabad. We all have the same Creator, who made us alike and Claims to love everyone then why this discrimination? Allah has given so much to some people and has made survival impossible for ... Read More

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. ~Albert Camus
As the wind quietly changed, a slight chill has settled into its folds signalling that winter is waiting to creep upon us. Preparation of winter begins as our scenery changes colours! Summer trees are showing all shades of red, orange, yellow and brown. Its like our streets have changed costumes and this change is very pleasant as autumn is the perfect pause between the opposing miseries of ... Read More

This breath taking view of Margalla Hills shows how the recent rains brought relief and happiness to the Isloo people till today morning. When a commercial plane (Air Blue Airbus flight A-321) crashed with 159 people on board. Yesterday's beautiful scene is filled with horror and sorrow today. It is still raining... the scene is the same, same clouds covering the top of hills, same streets, same green patches. Every spot in Islamabad is a perfect screenshot for the nature ... Read More

Everyone was eagerly waiting for the end of season Mausummery sale and was excited to see the banners splashed all over Islamabad today morning. It was sooner then expected. I know it has become a crowd pulling trend to write "upto 50% discount" but after last year's "real" sale we decided to check this out.
A common citizen like me normally tries to avoid the security checks one has to face at Marriott. But after bearing with the barriers, hurdles, sniffing ... Read More

Its hot in summers! Everybody knows and there is nothing new about it but when you have to face these boiling temperatures then it becomes a news. It was quite hot on saturday making it difficult for people to go outdoors. The markets and roads wore a deserted look. Power crisis is not making our lives any easier in this scorching heat. Even if we stay indoors and there is no electricity then we have only one thing which can ... Read More

Every morning I see tens of workers cleaning the streets of Islamabad but the sad part is when these people have a holiday on Sunday our streets are littered in one day. It says a lot about the general attitude of people. We think it is others duty to clean and we have a right to throw litter where ever we want to.
Anti-littering drive has started in Islamabad for celebrating the golden jubilee of our capital city. CDA chairman, Imtiaz ... Read More

Margalla Hills are a permanent part of our lives, the residents of Islamabad. They just stand in the background and add to the federal capital’s charm. For nature lovers, like me, they are 'a thing of beauty’ which is ‘a joy forever’.
Yesterday while driving my kids back from school I saw clouds of smoke emerging from the hills. It is sad to see these beautiful hills on fire every year. A little match stick can do the trick or maybe ... Read More
