Every morning I see tens of workers cleaning the streets of Islamabad but the sad part is when these people have a holiday on Sunday our streets are littered in one day. It says a lot about the general attitude of people. We think it is others duty to clean and we have a right to throw litter where ever we want to.

(The Nation)U.S. immigration officials have released a Pakistani journalist who reports for Voice of America’s Deewa Radio and whose home was destroyed by Taliban militants last month in northwestern Pakistan.

Loadshedding in Pakistan has made the lives of citizens miserable and the hike in electricity charges will be the last blow for the honest middle class of Pakistan which is already disappearing. They have no option left in these times but to join the rich class which obviously can't be done without crossing over the "honesty line". Second option is the join the majority(poor) quietly and wait for a slow death.

A honeymoon couple sitting in a helicopter above South Africa's Plettenberg Bay today got a dramatic front row seat on a close encounter between five surfers and a great white shark.
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said the 3.5-metre shark was spotted by a helicopter pilot, Glen Brown, who was flying the couple and another passenger over the beach in his Robertson 44 helicopter.
