Ingredients:
Chicken boneless 1/2kg-cut in one inch cubes
Salt- 1 tea spoon
Red chillies- 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tea spoon
Ginger/garlic paste- 1 tea spoon
Fresh cream- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1 large (boiled)
Tomatoes- 4 (boiled)
Butter- 2 oz
Oil- 2 oz
Powdered almonds- 2 table spoons
Coconut powder- 2 table spoons
Yogurt- 2 table spoons
Zeera- (roasted & crushed )1 table spoon
Green chillies-4
Method:
Blend onions with tomatoes. Heat oil and butter in a wok.Add ginger, garlic,onion and tomato puree, boneless chicken cubes with salt, red chillies and turmeric powder and cook for 10 minutes with lid closed. When cooked, add almonds, coconut powder, all spices, yogurt and fresh cream and let simmer for 10 more minutes. When oil starts forming on the top, add green chillies, ginger julienne and crushed zeera(cumin seeds). Serve with nan.
