These are pictures worth a thousand words! I am speechless at the intensity of their need, need for help, need for food, need to survive!
Watching flood coverage on tv screens all day makes us immune and we do not realize the magnitude of the disaster.
Please help these people in whatever way you can. On such days I wish to be “man” so I am free to leave the comforts of my house and do some “real” help.

pakistan flood victims

Pak army supplying food
Millions of people are effected by these floods and today I saw markets in Islamabad full of people shopping happily. There was no shadow of sorrow in their eyes and no urgency in their movements. Are we the same nation who got together after the “oct 8 earthquake”? Are we numb now? It seems like we have stopped feeling the sorrow of others. It long since are nerves are not relaxed, things happen one after the other and we are so used to watching these horrible things and carrying on with our lives.
I wish this vicious circle of disasters, crashes, blasts, drones and killings come to an end. Please help people of our beloved country and pray as ramadan is approaching. Pray for peace, pray for hope, pray for happiness, pray for life!!

It is requested to all pakistanies to help flood victims because they are also our brothers and such threatful can invade us also
I appreciate your concern and the “wish”. I also do hope that the aid and the money pouring in is used to rehablitate these poor people rather than topping up vaults.
We, Students of Pakistan, can play a big role to help affected peoples. If we simply promote the concept of Islam and concept of Pakistan that is “Sacrifice our important things for others”. Its easy and it will be helpful to improve the morals of Pakistanis.

My Name is Ahmad Hassan, I belongs to Basti Tanwari, A Village 7 KM away from Kot Mithan Disrtict RajanPur.
I am working in D.G. Khan Cement Co. Ltd.
My village does not exist anymore, flood ruined all the homes and crops of the village ( Basti Tanwari ). Not a single home is remained in my village.
The Dam is 2 KM away from my village (Basti Tanwari), when it broken , there was not too much time to collect house hold item and animals. Due to lake of awareness, the people of my village were not expecting such huge and disastrous flood, so they are not agree to shift on safe places with their household items and animals. when suddenly, the dam broken, flood water covered my village within one hour and the all people of my village run up to save their lives, leaving all the precious household items and animals. So they have lost each and every thing , they have , I myself have lost my all household items and animals.
So Painful Disaster Dear all, As :
=> 90 Percent people have lost their all savings , house hold items , foods stock ( i.e wheat etc ) and each and every thing.
=> 30 percent people have lost their animals.
=> 95 Percent people have lost their homes as all these homes were built by mud.
=> 100 Percent people have lost their crops.
The residents of my village are living on roads, and in flood relief camps etc. There is dire need of foods items and homes.
I am the only educated person of my village working in Multan.
I have spent all my saving on my family and my relatives but alone, I cannot support, all my relatives and my villagers, So I have contacted many of my friends and local donors , they are also supporting us in form of cash, food items . medicine etc .I have decided to start fund raising for the poor people of my village.
