We have a history of not holding our leaders accountable (I do not mean in a revengeful way) when they are holding the office. When they leave the office after committing gross crimes like violation of constitution , events which led to East Pakistan saga, killing of Akbar Bugti, tradgey of Lal Masjid and the list may go on and on even then they are allowed to flee to foreign lands. Why is time always not right to question these ... Read More

Supreme Court of Pakistan has summoned Former President Musharraf to explain his decisions against judges in 2007 which according to many may lead to further questioning about some controversial desicions made by him. The wheel of time is moving in the opposite direction now but I give him credit for staying inside Pakistan after leaving the office. If he will be bold enough to face the court (the court he once over-ruled) then Mr Musharraf is a true Pak Army ... Read More

Published in The Independent, it is definitely worth reading.
‘Since you were so kind as to greet us in London at Downing Street last month, the President would like to return the favour,” announces Major-General Rashid Qureshi, President Pervez Musharraf’s PR man over the phone.
