It has become a growing trend to use shoes in protest. "Shoe" managed to capture more attention than the blood of the helpless. And today, as a symbolic act of resistance against the Israeli occupation and military assault on Gaza, a shoe was thrown at the Isreali Ambassador, Benny Dagan, during a public lecture at Stockholm University.
