Iftar Buffets and hunger There are  iftar and dinner offers of various hotels and resturants all over Islamabad . These normally range from minimum Rs 400 to Rs 900 per head. Which means one person will eat one meal worth this much. We have so many poor people in our country and we all have had atleast a few chances to witness these iftar buffets. We know how much food is wasted and thrown away. People fill their plates and leave them and refill ... Read More

6 Dont’s after a meal…

Posted By phw On Wednesday, April 1st 2009 In General, Health n Fitness | Tags: bath, fruits after meals, smoke, tea, walk |
6 Dont’s after a meal… Don't smoke Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher). Don't eat fruits immediately Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1 hr before meal. Don't drink tea Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to ... Read More

Jemima Interviews Musharaf Published in The Independent, it is definitely worth reading. ‘Since you were so kind as to greet us in London at Downing Street last month, the President would like to return the favour,” announces Major-General Rashid Qureshi, President Pervez Musharraf’s PR man over the phone.
